Time for fresh pics of the ride, with it's chromeline headlight treatment, clear corners and side markers, and rear spoiler. I'm bummed, however, that the chrome decklid strip that was on it when I got it came off when I washed the car. It had always seemed a little loose, but I caught the edge of it with the sponge and off it came! Have to find some 3M double sided trim adhesive tape and redo it.

looks like you took the time cleaning that??? i do, even though the car i have isnt a classy one (youll see alot of them here as taxis) i spend about 4-5hours cleaning it throughout! (then it gets dirty when it rains!)

I know. I told myself I'd not have another black car as they get dirty soooo fast. But they look so good when clean...

Looks good, Chris! I agree about black cars getting dirtier than other colours, my Golf was terrible for it. Having said that though, regardless of the colour, my cars seem to get dirty quickly, because if it's not the rain, it's the dust etc of a dry day that makes it dirty...:banghead:

So am I. But at $1500 for a set with tires, I'll be waiting until after the house is done.

HAHAHAHA. I can relate. I was looking at the Brazen Orange Metallic GTO (but decided that my fiancee would cut my nuts off for buying that color) so I got black. A brid shit on it Sunday moring, so of course I wash it Sunday ~ Mid day. It poors buckets Sunday night. I go to get in this morning to drive to work and the car is dirtier than when it had bird shit on it. SOB. I wanted something other than black, but they look so sexy when clean (its just that doesn't last long.

BTW car looks great, why blank out your license plate?

Really? I dont care too much, I figure those who really want it bad enough know how to get at it already. Looks like there is plenty of green on the trees in Maryland We are getting there, but not quite yet.
