Hey guys, I really need your help

Home  \  Off Topic  \  Hey guys, I really need your help

So, many of yall probably don't remember me, but for those of you who do you probably remember that I'm a photographer.

Well, there's this photography competition that relies on votes to win (winner gets a show in New York City and $2000 -- really really awesome). I need yall's help getting votes. The whole thing relies on IP addresses, so you can only vote once every 24 hours. It also ends next Tuesday (June 17), so I need yalls help soon.

I could only upload four photographs, but I think they're some of my best nature images. Check my site for more. If I win, the show won't just be these shots, it could be all of my best.

Thanks so much guys, I really appreciate it. Pass it around to anyone and everyone -- I'd love your help.

Also, comment on my PBase site so I can get some more feedback on my work.

Oh, yea, how are yall doing?

I voted. Where do you see how you rank?

Good luck !!

Cool pics, but when did you go to Africa?

Welcome back, John....will you be sticking around? I'm just about to vote!

Edit: Does the vote go through automatically? I can't see anything to push, button wise, lol!

Scroll down, right below the 4 pictures, it says "Rate this portfolio" click on the 5th star.

Thanks...I must have already inadvertantly done so already as it wouldn't let met do it again, lol.

Does it say "You can only rate a portfolio only once after each 24 hours" when you click it?

You actually can't see anyone else's page so you can't sabotage them. To be honest I think any votes are great no matter how many other people may have.

I've actually never been to Africa. The gorilla shot was taken at the Dallas Zoo last year. It actually won the Dallas Zoo's photography competition last year.

Thanks for the welcome back, man. I should be here for at least a little while -- I've got a lot going on.

Just do what Chris said to vote:

Thanks a lot for your votes, guys.

Ive put in like 20 votes for yah. Hope you win man. Anything outside of automotive photography isnt my cup of tea.

Proffesional photographers and photography professors have always told me that photographing cars requires completely different tactics and a nice automotive photograph is rarely what a textbook good shot would be.

699th vote...Damn, so close

Thanks so much guys, I was in the top 20 most popular portfolios thanks to yall.

They're gonna finish up the professional judging in a few weeks.

Yea, I know what you mean. I love automotive photography but it's really hard to get into. Also, the really good shots have so much going into them that you rarely see. There's so much special lighting and other effects needed to make a good car shot just that.
