New video of the BMW

As soon as I started to try to get this recorded, traffic picked up and I
didn't get what I wanted to get: both a mild pass to hear how quiet it is
off-throttle, and a pass where I didn't have to immediately slow down as I
passed the camera. As it is, the YouTube audio is a bit raspier and tinnier
than it is in real life, where there is more bass.

awesome, love it
I'm looking into getting an e39 540i for my next car
That was beautiful. Very rich and deep sounding, stock pipes?
only a few inches are stock. ;)
Magnaflow performance cats, a couple feet of the stock pipe the straight
through to the tips with no mufflers.

Oooh very nice the magnaflow was a good choice, think of Borla at all?
Sounds awesome

Very nice, ChrisV.
I'm wondering...with the recent news of people getting caught for online
shenanegans (sp?)...especially that which is posted on u-tube...I don't
know if you were speeding, but is it wise not to blur out your plates?
.
.
Not worried. Anyone wants my plate number can see them driving down the
road any day of the week. Anyone using You tube to do that will get laughed
at.
And blurring out plates on a video posted to you tube is just simply too
much work.
I was thinking of Borla to use for actual mufflers, but their catalytic converters are way too expensive.
That's weird because I recall it being that an officer has to be there at the time of the offence...besides, they can't see who is driving the car.
Interesting. I suppose the cities and governments are just wasting lots of
$$ installing those traffic cameras at intersections? Sure, the system
doesn't ALWAYS work perfect, but how many people do you know that have just
ignored the citation sent in the mail because an officer wasn't
present??

No reason to spend more money than you need to. :wink2:
