You're probably just pissing into the wind for the most part. Too many of the regulars have been run off. It's crappy when there's personal vendettas by mods against members who actually livened this place up, even after they returned several times over, and weren't really causing problems.

Yeah it is, forgot to update that thread haha!

The MRI discovered my ACL was torn, my LCL was damaged, and the avulsion fracture of the fibular head, and other joyful damage.

I had surgery last year at the end of July to replace the ACL, and they tried to fuse the fibular head via a large bolt. They also did some cleanup in there...trimmed some damaged parts of the meniscus and patella, cleaned out scar tissue, removed a baker's cyst, worked on the LCL, and some other stuff as well.

A few weeks later, they took an x-ray, the fibular head had split apart again, and a few weeks after that, they found out that the LCL was hooped...

Sooo last Friday, the 19th, they cut it open again, replaced the LCL and fused the fibular head again, and then put me in a full leg cast, and I'll be in it for another 5 weeks yet.


Damn, now I really want a beer, or something haha

Well...I saw the surgeon today. They took the cast off, pulled the staples/stitches, and then sent me for an x-ray. Unfortunately, the bone has split apart again, so they sent me home in a brace, and they'll be scheduling yet another surgery on the knee.

Saw him again yesterday, still waiting for surgery to be booked, so i'm still sitting around on my ass at home doing nothing, not even allowed to go to physio :(

On a positive note though, they took x-rays of my lumber and thoracic spine, and they can barely tell that I had compression fractures of 4 vertebrae :)
