In my technical education class, we are now building CO2 cars from blocks of wood. We're making the person with the best time the class champ, so my car only needs to survive for one race. I'm thinking of making my car the smallest it can possibly be, and a wire frame, kind of like a dune buggy. Does this sound like a good idea?

Also, make sure that the wheels are in balance, in round, moving freely, and correctly aligned. It also helps to lubricate them with some graphite paste (if allowed) It'll reduce the friction in the wheels and the axles. Thats all i can think of right now... I'll edit this post if i can think of anything else
