This is the first model Ive done in a long time. Im currently working on
this, a 2002 35th anniversery Camaro SS (again), and a Mitsubishi GTO.
Here's the Mustang though.
the colors are Black, Dark blue, sky blue and a Blue metal flake all under 3 think coats of Gloss. All and any opinions welcome
bravo! awesome job so far.
I believe I have that same watch.
I doubt it. Does the face of it have a Chevy bow-tie and say SS above the 6?
Nope. Deff. not the same one. Dude, don't you know only little boys wear bow-ties :hi:
Who cares about the watch, thats a great paint job on the model, but the real question is; Could you do that on a real car?
What? the paint? I couldn't, but there's a few people who can. I saw a Beretta with black, fading to blue, fading to yellow. so yes, it's possible.
Cool paint on the Mustang! The basic blue is perfect.
...ah, nice lawn BTW... :smoke:
Reviving this old ass thread since..well..sine all I have to do to this car now is to add the rear wheels and throw on the intake, then do the final asembly, and she's finally done. I got some encouragement from a different site I go to that has a model of the year contest and well, this is going to be my entry. Sry guys, no pics yet since uh...since we're switching from my shitty camera to one that has "macro" (Allows you to take clear close pics) Pics by the end of next week atleast. Probably tommorrow though! Can't wait to get this beast done so I can get started on my next 2002 Camaro SS with 396 Carb. V8, my 69 Camaro SS with transplanted LS1, and my 86 Fiero GT
I make a lot of models as well, but none with 2 tone paint! Very nice!
well, here's the newer pics of almost completion. and yes, it was taken
with the shitty camera last night. sry for bad pics. And it's raining so no
here's my 69 Camaro SS so far too
Chameleon color changing paint on that SS too! Paint is called "Duplicolor Mirage" and comes with 3 cans of paint. Base (Primer), paint (color) and clear (clear coat)
Very nice! You use the same type of glue I do... he he...
I don't see any pics...
