I'm pretty sure my trans is leaking fluid, and about a two or three months ago I filled it (it was bone dry) with some fluid. Well now I'm having the same prob, meaning the gears take a long ass time to switch or whatever. Is it bad to just fill it again without going through the hassle of changing the previous fluid? It's the same type that I'm going to fill it with, so if the car really needs it, is it bad to just pour some more in?
You can add fluid if it's necessary. Well.. you should add fluid if it's necessary or you'll burn out your trans.
you can just add fluid and on your way... but YOU know you have a leak so why not fix it now and save the cost of burning out your tranni, or just procrastinate and pay lots later.
