Blinker no longer blinking

Home  \  Repairs & Maintenance  \  Blinker no longer blinking

My rear right blinker just went out yesterday as I was driving home and I figured it just burned out. I got a replacement bulb today and installed it only to find that the blinker light still doesn't work. Any thoughts? I know relatively little about cars so any help you can give me would be much appreciated!! :banghead:

Verify the connector, make sure that it`s clean inside. Also check for a cut wire. Very possibly ur ground is no more good. :2cents:

does the indicator come on if you move the signal switch and stay solid on,if nothing, check fuse,if separate.makee sure the socket is clean, get a pin type lead and a 12 volt tester to follow the voltage.the relay could be no good .they are about 10 dollars.its easy to find, put on the blinker taht works ,listen for the ticking under the dash.it could be in the fuse box too.it looks like a silver metal can
about 2 inches long.1 1/2 across.
