1990 Buick Electra-Problems with self leveling on the electronic suspension
I am in need of any feed back on the suspension of a 1990 Buick Electra FWD. Put the car on a lift rack. When the car was brought down, the suspension remained extended in the back of the car. Drove a few miles to see if the suspension would self level, but it did not. Released the air on the valve to level the suspension, but now it rides like a log truck. Is there an easy fix for this? Could it be electrical...possibly a fuse? Or have the struts gone bad? Help!!!! I can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
the compressor has a separate fuse and will run even when the car is off.i
have the same in my olds 98.
what i think happened is that you put it on the hoist without turning off the compressor.it may have overheated,or blown the fuse.you can hear the thing run if you park on a hill .check the fuse.
