My wife’s Taurus keeps stalling ODB1 EEC-IV code says 157 Mass Air Flow
Sensor Fault, Low Voltage. I'm very handy with tools. My question is how
reliable is the code.
I.E. After I replace the Flow Sensor the car keeps stalling and a new code is displayed.
Also where is the sensor located and how hard to replace.
the MAF sensor is the alum. housing mounted in the intake air hose between
the airfilter box and the throddle body, befoe you replace it make sure
there is no leaks in the hose between the MAF sensor and the t/body this
will cause a MAF sensor code and replacing the sensor won't fix it
