Jump starting a pickup truck

Ok so my girlfriend's mom accidentally left her keys in her truck with the power on, so the daytime running lights drained the battery. I'm going to jump the truck tomorrow, but I wanted to make sure it was safe to do it. The truck is a 2001 Ford F-150 V8, and the car I want to use is a 1992 Mazda Protege 1.8. Can this possibly damage the little Mazda, because of the size difference between the two?

I think it would just drain the little Mazda's battery, is the Fords one of the heavy duty ones?

It shouldn't be that bad as long as the mazda is running, I have jumped v-8's with my honda and it didn't do any damage.

No damage will be caused by jumping the vehicle correctly, follow the instuctions in the owner's manual of the car doing the jumping.
