Engine dies at higher revs?

Hi
I've got more problems with my Ford Fiesta 1.25l LX. When the revs get to about 400 (Or is it 4000? Its 4 on the dial anyway!) the engine completely dies then picks up again as the revs fall. Any ideas? :ohcrap:

sounds like a rev limiter. try it in gear or rolling in neutral...
