How can i get a ecm code read out with out going to the shop on 92 E150
go to autozone and they'll do it for free...
not on a ford EEC-IV system
really? i guess i've never had to get a ford tested there...
Auto_Zone will not do any car under 96 and my repair shop will charge me $75.00 :banghead: :banghead:
well, that sucks. get a repair manual for your truck, and it will show you
how to jump out the diagnostic connector to get the codes (unless someone
here comes up w/ an image of it so you can see...
what's wrong w/ your van, anyway?
hmm i may be way out to lunch here but on my 89 stang you could do key on off on off and leave on then codes will flash through check engine light, count the flashes and see if it works, but i could be wrong .on off on off on
gives instructions for pulling the trouble codes on an EEC-IV using a couple of jumper wires and an analog volt meter or by using the check engine light
The key-on-key off sequence is typically done on Chryslers.
