problem with a 1991 pontiac grand am
i have a 1991 pontiac grand am with a 2.5 i started having problems with it
it won't idle it stalls out when i try to get it to idle.i ran the codes it
gave me and it said to replace the mat and the map sensers.i did that and
it is still stalling and it is not sending any more codes.if anyone may
have any ideas please e mail me at james_burch1982@yahoo.com.
thank you
what codes?
it was showing a code 25 and 33 mat and map sensor i replaced them both.
i would guess they both have the same 5v ref wire from the computer, get a wiring diagram and check the wire for an open or short.
The two devices share a common 5V ref. signal on GM A Body and A body special - I suspect the GM N bodys w/ 2.5L L-4 are similar
my thoughts exactly ;)
anyone know where i can find a vacuum line diagram for a 91 grand am on the internet for free.
how's this
there is a hose comming from the transmission and it is cut i can't find the other end.it comes out of the top.any ideas.a couple people said it is a vaccum line.i don't know.clueless.
This is going to sound pretty easy, and I'm sure it is, but i can't get the speaker covers off of my front speakers, short of just ripping then off. I don't know if there is some sort of clip, or what. One of them is blown out, i just want to replace it. If i could get the cover off i could probably do it in my sleep. If anyone knows how to get those covers off short of just tearing them off, just reply. Thanks
