1998 Eclipse GST transaxle noises
Just wanted to see if anyone else has some knowledge of this issue. Could there be something broken in the manual transaxle that sounds like a wheel rubbing yer fender when turning to the right (uphill) under power ? Going over speed bumps can aggrivate it enough that it sounds constant, then eventually goes away?Last speed bump produced a low knock from transaxle area, Also another issue while turning to the right is loosing some power in acceleration, until I let up on throttle,it then immediatly returns to normal. Just recently had car lowered ,Took it to dealer, they could not diagnose because could not reproduce sound, that was before I realized that was happening more dramatically on speed bumps. I was tellin them to listen while turning (1st symptom) :banghead: thanx....
