Is this correct forum??
Is this a place where I can ask questions about car basics, like "power brakes" or
"turbo meters".. or is there a specific place for that?

i'd imagine either here or the forum appropriate to the car would be fine (i.e. buicks--domestic cars, honda---asian cars...etc.)
