Anyone now what would cause the 302EFI to stumble and act like it backfires when I step on it in first gear, mind you I put the engine in my toyota truck with a manual trans. It also tends to overheat after 20 min, but the problem happens cold and warm. After I get it going it tends to like clear itself out, most notable starting at a stop sign.I have tones of fuel with the banks inline high psi pump, any thoughts. Maybe I should cange the manifold and put a carb on????????
