HELP SHIFTER THING WON"T WORK ON 5th Ave

:ohcrap: Hi guys,
I'm new her. What can you tell me about how to fix the shifter thing. I park on somewhat unlevel ground. When I went to shift to Reverse, :doh: the shifter felt jammed so I gave it a nudge and it when from Park ro Low in one fell swoop.
Now it won't work, Car still starts, but can't put it in proper gear. H E L P>>> grandmother :screwy: thank you so much for your input. Oh by the way it is a Chrysler 5th Ave, 1985 :laughing: paid in full :laughing:

You need to have someone look at the shifter linkage from the shifter to the transmission. It sounds like the linkage either broke or fell off. :thumbs:
