1994 f150

when i check the engine oil i get different readings on the dip stick. the side with the marks says ok and the other is above full. which one do you believe?

I have an explorer that they are not even either. I have always used the side with the marks. Mine are withing a sixteenth of an inch or so apart so I could really use either.......

Is it setting on some kind of incline?

it sits pretty well level can't say it would make that big of difference the way it sits
