2000 Hyundai Accent
I have a 2000 Hyundai headache :banghead: or an accent. My wife is on my butt trying to get me to get it fixed but I am at a loss maybe someone out there can assist getting me out of the dog house! At least I can hope. When driving the Oil light comes on after pressing the break which gives me a killer headache... I replaced the gauge sensor below the manifold with a new one and got the same thing. It doesn't knock more than any other accent with 110000 miles. Doesn't lose power or sound any different... any tips??? This has already drove me to :smoke: and working on the bottle! :banghead:
I am currently :cussing: at this car any help would be great
When's the last time the oil was changed?
instead of using the recomended 5w-30, use 10w-30. its a little thicker and should bring the oil pressure up enough to get the light to turn off.
If that doesn't work then run some 80w-90 gear oil and trade the car in for a new one.
