Flasher can location

Hey,
I have a Nissan '89 skyline and the indicators have stop working. It has recently been serviced but they didn't have the part I needed. They said I needed a flasher can. I receved one from a friend and have no idea where it goes. Bearing in mind that I have no experience at cars of any kind, can anyone help?
