1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited cam sensor?

Does anyone know where the cam sensor is located on a 93 JGCL with the 4L? I have a code coming up saying it is the distributor timing/ cam sensor, and the thing won't start...no gas or spark, just turns over. I noticed 3 wires coming out of the distributor instead of 2 for the pickup. Is it under the distributor? I've called a couple local garages and they said they can arrange to have it picked up and brought in to look at it....no help without spending the money... I want to do it myself and save a few $$. I just bought it and have no book on it, so if someone could lead me in the right direction, I would appreciate it!
