I have a 1992 toyota corolla auto transmition 1300cc engine( injector) its
not giving good gasmilage.
Car modification= change piston, bigger head, bigger e.c.m. what can I do to increase the milage.
Here's a few simple tips for ya!
1. Make sure the tyres are correctly inflated
2. Make sure that your brakes aren't binding on etc
3. Drive in a...calm manor
4. Make sure the emmisions are set up right
5. Buy a manual
Ok....ignor the last one lol
As it's an auto the MPG is bound to be less than an equivelant manual car.
My only response to this is, huh?
I would use the manual Cliffy suggested for you to buy to learn how to keep
the car tuned up.
In addition to Cliffy's suggestions = keep the front end aligned
Keep your right boot off of the gas pedal
I agree with VWHOBO, HUH? It doesnt get much more fuel efficient than a small Toyota Corolla with a four cylinder and a 1.3L engine. You ever done a tuneup? Maybe you need to come drive my 1976 Buick Electra 225 Limited with a 455 GM Big Block and a four barrell Rochester Quadrajet carb to appreciate the gas mileage with your yoda, LOL.
I understand the 455 real well.
When we were growing up, my dad had a 1969 Olds 88 with the 455 cid rochester 4bbl. The car would pass everything but the following: Corvettes, Porches, Dodge 427 Hemis and every Esso, Shell and Texaco station along the route
