High Beams YES, Headlights (pass side) NO?

Hello everyone,

I dont have much experience with this at all. I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant. I had some problems with my passenger side headlight socket so I went to a junkyard and bought the socket. Both high beams are working fine but my regular headlight do not work for the passenger side (the socket I changed) I dont understand how that works. If the high beams are working fine for BOTH, why dont the headlight work for both as well? Why is the driver side headlight only working? Dont they use the SAME bulb for both high beams and headlight?

Any suggestions would really help

Haha well lets just say my 13 year old naphew went through my car manual and told me that there is a fuse compartment under the hood :)

You should check to see if there is a fuse compartment under the hood.
