I am restoring a '73 VW Bus with a 1600 air cooled engine and a manual transmission. In '73 I was driving a '68 VW squareback so I am reliving my youth and will now have my Dead Head Van. The starter frose up and caused a short that fried the wires from the ignition switch to the fuse box so I am going to replace the wiring harness but before I start I would like to know if I can use a genaric steering wheel puller or do I need the VW spacific attachment. Thanks Allan H. Giesen San Diego California not San Diego Texas.
What's up with this "Undefined" stuff?
I wondered that myself..how strange :smoke:
He's not the only one upto it either is he...? :screwy:
It's a shame our resident VW expert is not around to give you a definitive
answer. I have no answer for you on this :banghead: , but I will look at
mine tonight and see if I can figure something out.
Hey...I got an answer from the expert!
How's that? And I will have to count that as one for me...
May you be praised. Thanks as I did not want to goof it up from the begining. I had a good buudy from my high school who was my car guy and he died to young at the age of 49.
