What switches the reverse lights on/off in a '67 coronet? I pulled the steering wheel and took a peek and to my surprize there was nothing but the turn signal cam in there :ohcrap:

I cant speak from personal experience with the Dodge Coronet. I do know some cars have the back up light switch located on the tranny case. These are operated by a cam similar to the neutral start safety switch or neutral start safety switches on newer cars

I pulled the tranny to paint it a while back and that's about when the backup lights didn't work. I guess I had forgotten about it. I looked at the tranny looking for the reverse light switch but I only saw the one wire for the netrual/park ground. I forgot there was the chance I had disconnected the reverse light ground. Or maybe I didnt...maybe it's elsewhere. I'll have a look.

Did you get your lights working? You should have a three wire harness going to a switch on the left/rear of the trans. It's for park/neutral as well as the back-up lights.
