I have no experience with car-modification so I'm curious how hard it would
be to install one yourself. Also are there any other modifications that
can be easily done to improve performance?

Depends on what carr it is..some cars its just a simple bolt on process,
for others you have to remove the bumper and cut some of the splash
guards...what car is this on??

They make a cold air for that??? lol will probbably be pretty simple, I
used to have a 1990 Pontiac 6000LE and I am pretty sure the engine bay is
laid out pretty similar
