For full features; Go to Rev Counter & Radio problems (Whinning noise)
Hello,
I have a Vauxhall (Opel) Corsa B 1.5TD, which recently the rev counter
stopped working. After a couple of days the rev counter started working
again, but there was a whinning (engine) noise over the radio. Recently the
radio now switches off when the engine car revs (in motion) go over
2000rpm. Sometimes the radio doesn't work (when in motion), unless I turn
on the interior fan.
Does anyone have a solution to this, or know why this is happening?
:ohcrap:
Thanks,
Vic

WOW, sounds like you've got 1or more wiring issues. I couldn't tell you
where to start aside from wiggling the wires around and seeing if you can't
find a loose connection or ground somewhere. Wish I could help you more but
electrical just isn't my thing.

You should probably go with a professional if you do not have alot of
background with the electrical side of car maintenance. If you do not know
exactly what you are doing/looking for, you can do more bad than good.

I disagree. He's talking about working on a radio power circuit. Unless
you're stupid and go bull at a gate, I don't think you could do that much
damage, except for maybe stopping the radio working, but hey, it doesn't
work now.

He owns an auto shop, he thinks everything should be done by a
professional, what would you expect. Too bad hobo isn't here, he would give
him a run for his money.
