For full features; Go to How do you connect O2 wires?
I purchased a generic 4 wire Oxygen sensor to replace my broken stock
(94,000km Bank 1) O2 sensor on my P5. When the O2 sensor arrived I noticed
the wire colours are different from my stock O2 sensor. The generic ones
dont come with a harness so you need to connect it yourself. Can someone
tell me which colour wires I supposed to match up.
IE: blue to grey
My stock O2 sensor = black, black, blue, white
Generic O2 sensor = white, white, black, grey
Thank you

tough to help if we don't know make, model, model yr, engine, etc.

No idea, we don't even know what car you are working on or anything about
it. Those of us that truely know what we are talking about are mechanical
in nature. To fix a mechanical problem, most of the time it requires
technical data to be available. The odds of you being able to get help
with that are slim to none unless someone can jerk their crystal ball off
and get an answer for you, I know I can't. We don't have any verification
that you have even bought the correct aftermarket part for the car since we
know nothing about it. Generic parts are exactly that....generic. Have
fun!

Hi Rhino1616, I have similar problem earlier connecting wires from an old
o2 sensor plug with a newly purchased bosch. If you try to cut O2 sensor
you are only welcoming more trouble. I just replaced it with an OEM
designed sensor. It’s a bit expensive but serving me well still today. You
may try likewise.

I been there. When i got the new one it came with a color code book. The 2
black wires matched but there were a white and green on both and according
to the book white went with green and green with white.
