Hi,
i need to find out the name of a part that i am missing from my car.
Its a cover of some sort at the front end of the car and its at the side of
the registration number plate. its a plastic cover that looks like its
covering a pipe.

Not sure if I'm thinking of the same cover as you here, but the only
'cover' in that area that I know of is the circle one that covers the
towing eye (the part of the car that roadside recovery etc would tow your
car from if you broke down!). Following is a picture. If you look closely
you can see what I'm refering to...On the left of the numberplate. Yours
might be on the opposite side if you have a Right Hand Drive model.
