Replacing the turning signal bulb

Home  \  Repairs & Maintenance  \  Replacing the turning signal bulb

Hello,
This is my first post on this site and I would appreciate any response.
I am interested in learning how I can change the turning signal indicator bulb in the front drivers side. The car is a 1997 Ford Escort.
Thank you very much,

You may have to go in through the hood of the car...or there's a screw (or 2) inside the hood holding the light cover in place.

I'm guessing.

I think the headlight and turnsignal light is all one piece...

i can just pick up the bulb itself in autozone. they will know what piece?

If you have the bulb out...take it with you to Autozone and match it with the ones on the display or ask for help. You can even go without the bulb and ask for help and they'll use their computer to look up the proper bulb to use.

Most indicator bulbs are universal, in other words, they are also used as single filement brake light bulbs too, unless they are to fit clear lenses, in which case, they will probably be orange in color
