I'm getting ready to replace a leaking hydraulic convertible top lift
cylinder on my '96 Chry Sebring. The passenger side unit is the culprit.
I've located the hydraulic pump/motor behind the rear seat upright. It
does not look obvious to me how to fill with fluid and purge air from the
system after cylinder replacement. I'm also assuming the cylinder is not
repairable so the $178 dealer replacement seems to be my only option. Any
insight to my repair would be helpful.
