Any way how should I go about resolving this---1968-340mopar any suggestions? Please advise and thanx!!Is my #1 cylinder furthest from radiator on passenger side? (Forgive my ignorance) -Bigbonetone

Firing Order: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2

#1 cylinder location: Front cylinder closest to radiator on driver's side.

#1 ignition wire plug tower location on distributor cap: Front, closest to rad. (if indexed properly. the tower is right in the center of the engine. closest to the radiator as ai said before.)

Rotor turns clockwise.

Hope that helps.

BTW I wanted to point out that on mopars, the cylinder number's are from ascending order, left to right, deck to deck.

Example:

1|2
3|4
5|6
7|8
_.

^ also, that dot, is where the #1 spark plug wire should go on the distributor cap if indexed properly.
