I was just wondering what is the best technique for repairing major rust. I own a 1979 Mazda B1600 Ute. It has rust in too many places to list but I am positive that it's all fixable. I think it would be a great way to learn to weld and do bodywork. Check out my pics and see what you think.
She's pretty far gone. Is it worth even fixing it up? That vehicle did nothing for me so I say scrap it. If you want to learn on something, then find a car that may be worth something when your done.
"I think it would be a great way to learn to weld and do bodywork" The plus is,you already own it. If it still looks like crap in a year, what have you lost? But, what experience have you gained from your time and effort? :2cents: DON"T DO POLLS
