parking brake related to fuel pump?
I had my 1991 Jeep TJ at a dealership where they replaced my parking brake pedal, parking brake cables and front rotors under a recall. A week later, my vehicle started to have a no-start problem from time to time. I took my jeep to an independant garage and they said the fuel pump was faulty. They replaced the fuel pump and the problem was still there. Then they tell me that a ground wire at the parking brake pedal was not reattached which caused the problem. This sounds kinda fishy - shouldn't the independant have checked power and ground before they replaced my fuel pump (at a cost of $600)? They're telling me to go to the dealership and have them pay the bill.
