they say I have transmission trouble ...
I took my Dodge Stratus for Oil/Lube change the other day and the
guy said I have transmission trouble. My husband says when he
drives it, the car won't come out of 2nd gear. I don't seem to have
a problem driving it. I'd hate to think I could fix something else less
costly than $2000 for repair of transmission. Would like to hear your
thoughts on this. Thanks.
Hi Cargal, sweetheart I don't mean to put you down ,but would you know if it is shifting right or not? I would say take it to another shop and get a second opinion from a tranny man to be sure, there might be something they can do in stead of replaceing it. Good luck Slim
Funny, isn't it? You're the one who tells me I don't know how to talk to people, then you stick BOTH feet in your mouth in this thread. Sweetheart??? Did you take her to dinner last night? Why wouldn't she "know if it is shifting right or not"? Because she's a woman? Eight times out of ten woman are more in tune with what their car is or isn't doing than men. If your attitude isn't condescending and ignorant then I don't know what is.

Apparently so and you don't seem to know how to take it. I guess your defense mechanism is to try and change the subject.
Kinda like causing an accident and BLAMING it on the innocent party :smoke:
