Nitrogen to high ... can't pass e-check, please help!
I had to buy a $500 94 Cavalier temporarily while I work on my 85 olds.
Anyways ... I failed e-check. My Nitrogen is reading at 1,500 when it has
to be around 1,000.
I have until Nov. 6th to get this done ... are there any temporary / quick
solutions?
Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you
I believe nitrogen has to do wit EGR Valve.
Wat kinda 85 olds do u have?

Cutlass. Blew a head gasket. Having a friend fix it up for me next month.
Well its hard to tell without looking at it, it might just be a vacume line thats not opening the EGR valve. It could be electronic solenoid related. Could be build up restriction exhaust flow into the intake manifold. If you can locate the egr valve on ur engine than id take it off take a look for build up, see if its hard to open with ur fingers. Your not getting any codes? Computer thinks its opening but probably really isnt. Anyone else?
