idle problem after changing tp sensor and idle air control valve
I have a 1996 ford escort and the car idles at insane rmp's the car want to go 30 mph without hitting the gas the check engine light is on so i got a diognostic check and it said tp sensor and idle air control valve problem so i replaced the both of them and the problem is still there what do i do next please help me you can email me at ajpilarski@aol.com
Now that they are replaced, what codes do you get now?
it the same code that i got in the first place that tells me to replace the tp and the idla air im wondering if it is a electrical problem and were do i begin if it is
You may want to check for a vacuum leak. Other than that, I don't really know what to tell you.
Due to the very high revs, I would want to suggest ECU. But I'm a little hesitant to suggest that seeing as I really don't have anything to base that opinion on. Just a thought.
