No power?
Over the last two weeks, I have had problems starting my car. The engine
doesn't want to seem to turn over. I don't think it is the battery, but I
may be wrong. After turning a couple of times it'll start up. It doesn't
happen every time.
Well this morning, the same problem occured. This time it took much longer
for the car to turn. When it finally did, my clock was reset. So I
obviuosly I lost power. Any thoughts about my problem? I know nothing
about cars, so the any help would be great. I don't want to be stranded
somewhere. Thanks.
Clean and tighten battery post connections and grounding straps and have your battery tested.
Since the clock reset it is probalby a bad connection related with the battery. To clean the connectors on your battery, use bakingsoda and water. Itll bubble away any corrosion or filth. Then pour a little water on it to get the bakingsoda mixture off, dry and tighten any connection and then cover with grease to prevent future corrosion.
