Blazer headlight question

I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer LS. The lowbeam bulb in one of my headlights burned out and I would like to change it but I'm having a little trouble removing the lamp so I can change the bulb. A friend with an older Blazer told me that there are two "L" shaped rods that secure the lamp to the radiator bracket which can be pulled out, but I don't seem to have them. Am I just blind? I'd really appreciate any help anyone could give me.

Well i don't really have an answer for you, i've been searching for the same answer. But i'm not changing a bulb cuz it's burned out i just want the bright white ones, but the only way i can see to take the headlights out is to take a whole bunch of stuff out. There has gotta be an easier way to do it. Sorry i couldn't help ya.
