How to adjust the Door gap spacing in a 83 Camaro

How to adjust the Door gap spacing in a 83 Camaro
My camaro's pasanger side door gap (behind the frount wheel well) is smaller towards the top of the car and wider to the bottom, which is chipping my paint, and making the door difficult to open from the inside.. Is there a way to adjust the gap, and can you give a short how to? Thanks in advance
