How to remove radio from 1996 Toyota Camry?

Hi everyone. This is my first post here. I need some help.

I need to know how to remove my radio from my 1996 Toyota Camry LS Sedan.

I have the factory AM/FM Stereo Radio & tape player with a CD player below it. All of a sudden, the sound stopped. When I put the radio on, it shows me what station I am tuned to and the power antenna extends. If I insert a tape or a CD, the antenna goes down, like it should. Everything indicates normal operation except "no sound".

I check the fuses and they are both ok. That plus, my stations would not show if one was blown and my antenna would not function if the other one was blown.

Any help would be appreciated.

ok, you are going to need to take tho bulk of your dash off, this car is relitivly easy to do this i belive it has 8 scrws and it pops off there might be an anti-theft plate blocking you but once the dash is off it should slide out. this should take no more then an hour and 1/2

if it is not a fuse it sounds like you wireing harness has either been fried or your radio is just shot.

go out and buy a new one, they arnt that bad.
