My 89 toyota camry won't start! The engine rotates but wont start. I have a new battery and I checked all the connections for it. I also checked the distributor cap and it was fine. I had major engine work done about six months ago and there is no check engine light on. It acts like it's out of gas, but I know it's not. I'm going out of my mind trying to figure out the problem! Does anyone have any suggestions of what it might be?
Just changed spark plugs and fuel filter. Checked the fuel pump and pressure is fine. It still won't start. I don't have a lot of money so I can't get it towed anywhere. Someone Please Help!
Tell us about the major engine work you had done.
New timing belt, new oil pan, new water pump, front and lower engine crank seals, new a/c-alternator belt plus some other misc. things the mechanic did for free. I've had even had new struts and CV joints put on in the past year if that really makes a difference.
