hey folks, i have a 98 ford explorer all wheel drive. the left front cv joint went out, so i replaced it with a new half shaft from the parts house. about 5 miles later when i let off the gas you could hear it start clicking again, it continued to get worse so i chalked it up to bad parts. I returned it and got another one, installed it and the same thing happened. (clicking, shutter). I have looked at the motor mounts and they look fine. does anyone have a idea of what is causing the cv joint to go out so fast? is there something else on the explorer i should check? i am at a loss on this one... thanks for the advice.
