I'm a member of a Gremlin forum too.... they told me about a chemical called POR-15.... seems pretty kickass just paint it on and it dries like steel.... won't sand off... the only way to really get...

Rust!

I took the seats and all of the carpeting out of my Gremlin today..... All of the bare metal was covered in rust, even a couple holes in the floor.
took a wire brush and scraped all I could off of...

After talking to a few gremlin guys. I've found that even though the transmission is chrysler, it won't match up with the 225 slant six. I have no idea how much work/money it takes to make it...

Something as big and potentially explosive as an engine I'd rather get from a larger company with a warranty, instead of some goober that pulled...
