huge H/P or not?

Does anyone know how much a school bus wieghts, its H/P and T/Q. Odd question, but i was interested to see.

The new line of school buses from International use 3 different diesel engines, ranging from 175 horsepower/460 lb-ft. to 255 horsepower/660 lb-ft. I can't tell you how much they weigh though...

460 ft-lbs..................................

My 3rd grade school bus puts out more torque than an enzo...................

That's not hard to do.. diesels make a lot of torque...

its amazing school buses run hard and run forever... have any of you ever stoped and looked to see how many miles some of those bad boys are pushing its impressive.

So do cars. You might be suprised to find that with the same capacity engine the petrol one might actually have a higher torque rating than the diesel.

For instance, just a googling a random car ..... the Peugeot 504 1968 model:

Diesel 2112cc 48.5kW @ 4500, 124 N-m @2000
Petrol 1971cc 77.6kW @ 5200, 178 N-m @3000
