10 steps to build a car.

Sup guys, I need some quick help here.

Say I was wanting to build a nice car, something fast or whatever, what 10 steps would I take.

Say like would step one be add a turbo? Or add a body kit first? Or what? You get the idea don't you? Just 10 steps only how to get a nice modified car like adding parts and what-not.

In order too please.

Thanks.

Answer wally's question first, as no cars are really succeptable to a general application. Some cars might be more beneficial to a giant turbo, or others to sticky tires.

Generally, in my list of upgrades;

1. Traction (No point in having insane power if you can't get it to the ground. Get some sticky tires and a nice suspension setup)
2. Weight (Getting rid of excess weight is the cheapest and easiest way to get better acceleration, braking, slalom, skidpad, etc. etc.)
3. Power
-Start by getting the car to breathe easier (intake, headers, intake manifold, exhaust)
-Depending on the car, I would either go with a new camshaft setup (skunk2 gets something like 22 horses on a integra R in their stage 1 cams), or the turbo/supercharger. (Or upgraded turbo/supercharger, if it's already forced induction). Turbos require a lot of upgrades to go with it, so that's why it goes last on my list, and after that, you can get a nitrous system that's compatible with forced induction.

Can't quite say I reach all 10 steps, but this is what I would do if I had the money to upgrade a car.

Guys, I'm not going to build this car! No! lolz

What I want is like a little checklist of what people normally go about doing.

1. Tires and Wheels?
2. Supension?
3. Brakes?
4. Weight reduction?
5. Intake and Exhaust?
6. Turbo charger?

Is that ok so far or does it need ordered again? There's still paint job to add, body kit, interior ... anything else you guys can add? I can do a few more points or even make it an 7-10 point checklist.

All help is much appreciated.
