OK, narrowing it down, fast, good handling, NO HATCHBACKS! no trucks, no bikes, DSM or Toyota if possible, but I am open to pretty much anything, does that help?

Right now I'm looking into Datsun 240z's. I found one near me in decent condition for 2,000 and hopefully I'll go check it out and buy it.

I've seen one going for $800, and only 75k miles on it . Said all it needed was a fuel pump. Its automatic though, dunno if you want auto or stick.

Here's the link:

They are rear wheel drive, inline 6, 150 horses, weighs 2,355 pounds, and look really awesome in my opinion.

Dunno what else you could get for under 1500 thats fast...I've seen a datsun 280zx for $600, needed minor work, but those are slower and heavier than the 240z.

Hah, no kidding. When I read this post originally and saw under $1500 and then saw 96 Supra I thought maybe he meant $15,000...but even then an N/A 96 Supra costs more than that...

Unless its been torn apart in a horrible wreck, had the engine and tranny taken out, and the interior stripped.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, its got to be sitting on blocks too
