Question Getting first automobile

Okay so I want to get a truck. I don't like cars because I don't like driving low to the ground, and I'm into bmx so having a truck makes more sense for bikes etc.

But anyway I'm looking to get a Toyota Tacoma, because well asians are smart lol. Toyota's last that's why. But I'm wondering why do they make some with those little tires, and some with bigger ones? I like the ones with bigger ones, but they're always to expensive for me. So I guess I'm going to get one with smaller tires, then buy new ones. How much do tires cost? My first car so forgive my ignorance.

Nothing beats American trucks. Dodge Ram or Ford F150 for sure

Yeah, truck-wise, American pickups are pretty tough. Consider Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon and Dodge Dakota because Ford does not currently have a very strong mid-sized pickup. When it comes to durability, Ford, GM, and Dodge are definitely one of, if not the most rugged trucks on the planet. However, the Tacoma and Frontier beat the Americans in overall material quality and are a lot more refined. So it's up to you... Hardcore or Refined, either way you should be happy with whichever mid-sized truck you get.

Hmm, All the Japanese trucks are built in America...so in a way they are all American trucks. But yeah I say that American brands make better turcks overall. Nothing beats the Ford's F-series.

I forgot to give you all some details. Like I said I'm only 16, so I've been saving up money I've made at my job, and have about $8,000 to spend. So I'm looking for used cars.

I'd go with an F150. 1998 and under should be around 8,000
