Help me out people -- Hybrids

I'm doing an article about hybrid cars. Can anyone name me a few hybrids and how they're hybrids.

Also, if anyone owns a Hybrid and is in the Lansing, MI area, that would be fantastic.

Toyota Prius, Honda Insight, Honda Civic hybrid, Ford explorer, and a couple more I can't seem to think of. A hybrid is a car that runs at battery until about 2000 to 3000 rpm and then the engine kicks in so what that does is save gas mileage because at the stop lights it runs on the battery
